We made it…Manzanillo, Mexico!

We successfully made the 7,000 nautical miles to cross the Pacific Ocean! In our 21 days at sea we experienced about a week of ocean ‘rolling’…..thank goodness…..NO seasickness and great ‘deck weather’ on the southern route across to Mexico!
We transported 63 million dollars worth of cargo in 21 days…..
We are now in a beautiful Mexican harbor/port of Manzanillo, Mexico :)!!
Any of you who know Bud knows that he LOVES Mexico….so this port competes with all the others as an ‘ undiscovered’ Mexico destination!

Especially enjoyed your pics from Japan. Tom stopped in Yokahama for a day on a troop ship on his way to Korea in January of 1956. Was amazed at the cargo on your ship for your trip across the Pacific. Your adventures have been awesome. Hope you are planning to write a book so we all can read about them. Know you are enjoying Mexico and the fact that you soon will be home again with family and friends.
Merry Christmas and A Blessed 2013 to you and your family! Tom and Ellen

Manzanillo has a particular importance to me, exactly on Easter Day 2007, I joined Christa Rickmers, accompanied by my wife and the chief officer Yasar Gihan, now one of the good captains of MPC Fleet. Nice place, a vacation would be great there!
